High Shear Rivet Punch, 1/4" Dia., 3-3/8" long. Uses a standard .401 rivet gun to remove High Shear and Huck rivets.

On page 9-28 of the RV-14 plans, setting the rivets on the elevator trailing edge wedge is addressed. The first step is to lightly (partially) set the rivets with (2) flat squeezer dies per figure 2 of the plans.

This retainer spring is intended for use with 7/32" and 1/4" rivet sets. The larger body diameter of these rivet sets require the use of a specialized retainer spring.
